Some people see live music as a spectacle. But even spectacles have to derive from the private moment. Usually that's listening to a song or piece of music in yr home, bedroom, car, mind. A gesture signaling a mood, memory...
good feeling, message, hope, despair, ecstatic pleasure or just making you feel good about being in your body for that moment. The small gesture of Mirror /Dash sound works it's way into the living room/gallery of KS Art. ... Watercolors using metallic pigment depict people in the audience from onstage, looking at them reflected in the light as the performers, projecting onto them to come across as co-conspirators, in a ritualized re-enactment of a product, a record or, sometimes, as an improvisation, existing only in the moment. The common denominator is belief in the performer and for the performer belief in the audience.
